Those two beagles of mine were on a mission today. A mission to find the tastiest, brownest, stickiest type of stick! I couldn't believe it - there must have been something in the air!!! From entering the park today all they both did was hunt sticks.
They fought over the best ones???!!! Oscar was so wrapped up in his stick hunting and chewing that he suddenly stopped and planted himself on the very muddy ground and chewed away. I tugged and tugged at his lead but no he was having a chew before he would move ( in the end I bribed him with a treat, just to get him on his feet again lol)
It was a miserable day again on the weather front, one of those dark, dreary type of days when you just hope for a bit of sunshine but instead you get damp horrible stuff.
Then I spotted a dab of colour on the grass and realised it was a very early crocus, I was so thrilled I took a photo to prove it. February 8th and already signs of spring!!??!!
I love chewing sticks too! That crocus is so pretty!

I have never been a big fan of sticks but looking at you two... I guess I need to find one on my next walkie and test how much fun it is!

Spring? Wow is it early there. We have months left before the snow melts so we can go stick hunting! :)
